Team 'Fun'raiser - our second annual play day

Some of my fabulous team The Lorikeet Stampers gathered on the weekend to stamp, socialise and create!  We gathered at the Lonestar Tavern for our first get together of the year!  It's a great opportunity to play with new products.

Happy table pics!

Little gifts for everyone: one of our new mini Blending Brushes and a delicious ice cream cone shaped cookie!

Remember mintie tearing competitions?  Everyone received a Basic White circle which they had to cut into a spiral using their Paper Snips.  Longest spiral won....cut by Kylie-Jean.

Lots of prizes throughout the day with a scavenger hunt and a quiz.

Our service project was to create single sided cards for Hope in a Suitcase

We made 74 cards in total which I will deliver very soon.  A bright and happy message to tuck into suitcases.

And the ladies were asked to bring some items to donate to the Hope in A Suitcase collection - that's a lot of beautiful donations!

We had some displays to inspire....

And of course some make and takes with new products.

I was blessed to be given this beautiful bunch of flowers and card at the end!  Thanks Mary-Anne for organising!

Of course if you want to be part of the Stampin' Up! fun and join my team you are very welcome!  You can contact me at wheatonanna@hotmail.com

Black Magic Technique

If you live on the Gold Coast, Australia, you might like to come along to my technique classes - I hold them once a month in my home.  Towards the end of last year I held a Black Magic class - that's a technique, not witchcraft!  Lol.

This is one of the cards we made.

It uses Craft ink and the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set.  The ink is then coloured over with Watercolor Pencils.

I have made a video which you might like to look at.

The supplies used are listed here

Happy stamping!

Regency Park Online Event

There are so many exciting new products in the January to April Mini!  My stamping bestie Bec and I are going to dive into our first joint online event using the Regency Park Suite.

Craft at home in your jammies with Facebook live videos provided by us.  Invite a friend to join you for double the fun!

Saturday February 18th

9am till 12pm

If you are unable to join us live you will still have access to watch the videos back later in the Facebook group.

Please join us for a fun ONLINE crafting event!

The event will be hosted in a Facebook group and you will be approved to join once you have RSVPd and paid for the event.

Event fee is $40 (paid to me directly - or to Bec if you are her customer)

The fee includes your kit of materials, postage of kit, access to online event and lucky door prize entry.

What's in the kit?? A selection of cardstock, DSP, ribbon, envelopes and embellies from the Regency Park Suite to complete the projects.

You will then be required to purchase

#160571 Petal Park Stamp Set ($41) or #160577 the Petal Park Bundle ($67.50)

You will need this stamp set (or bundle) to complete the projects we have designed for you.  We recommend the bundle with the punch so that you don't have to fussy cut the flowers by hand.

Head to my online shop to purchase your stamp set or bundle and be sure to use the host code 49HZGA4H.  If you use the blue links above, the host code *should* be added automatically for you.

Here is a list of other items we will be crafting with to create the projects. You may want to add them to your online order if you don’t already have them. Alternatively you can substitute items you already have at home.

Stamp set with words/sentiments:
We have used the #160561 Sentimental Park stamp set ($42) which coordinates with the Petal Park stamp set. If you choose not to add that to your order you can use any words/sentiments you already have at home.
Ink Pads:
Shaded Spruce
Sweet Sorbet
Mango Melody
Petal Pink
Balmy Blue
Night of Navy

Punches:
#153608 Banners Pick a Punch (or simply use scissors)

RSVP cut off:
You will need to have placed your online order for the stamps/bundle and RSVPd with your $40 fee by Friday January 20th.

The event fee of $40 can be paid by bank transfer to my account

Christmas Charity Workshop! Fundraising and FUNraising

On Saturday we held our Annual Christmas Charity Day!  Our wonderful team The Lorikeet Stampers banded together to prepare and run this amazing event!  One of the things I love about Stampin' Up! ® is that it provides me with a platform to hold such events, gather people together and give to worthy causes.

Thanks to everyone involved - many hours go into cutting and packing the kits, team members prepare samples for display, they advertise to their customers, everyone helps set up, biscuits are baked, snacks are packaged, raffle prizes are gathered and wrapped.  On the day, team members participate or run tables, help set up and pack away. The help is so generous!

We had 10 tables altogether (I missed getting a shot of one of the tables!) and the ladies were guided through their projects by our team of demonstrators.

To inspire our customers we had some beautiful displays..

And we had a magnificent raffle which raised over $1010.

The money will be used to continue to provide our footprint cards and kits to Gold Coast University Hospital, our cards and invitations deliveries to Meals on Wheels and our cards and products for Hope In a Suitcase.

I was delighted to receive a beautiful bunch of flowers and gorgeous card at the close of the day.

Thank you to all who came along and took part in such a fun day.  As always the day is the culmination of many contributions and I am so grateful for all involved.

If you would like to be involved in these days in the future and you don't yet receive my emails, contact me on wheatonanna@hotmail.com

Silver Day

Part of the joy of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that you can be part of the family as a hobby demonstrator (buying for the discount) OR you can work your way up and earn titles for sales and team building.  This Saturday just past I held a special Silver morning for those in my team who reached or stayed Silver and above this SU! year.

Five ladies were able to attend and we created a special framed project and shared lunch.

This was the place setting that greeted them including a silver pen and some silver choccies.  The box is a frame for the making of their project....

While it looks like a beautiful day it's rainy outside and therefore a great day to craft. (Come to think of it, a sunny day is a great day to craft too!)

Here's Michelle and Jenny - the project was a 6 x 6" 3D scene with a lighthouse.

Loretta and I - Loretta used her box decoration to also decorate her neck! Lol.

And Angela and Donna. Angela has her project in her frame - ready to go.

It was a fun morning and a great opportunity to gather and swap stories.

Thanks Donna for being the consistently fun!

If you love the project, I will run a class on it soon.  The tutorial is created by Mikaela Titheridge, a UK demonstrator.  You can find her web site here.

If you would like to know more about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to answer your questions.  Drop me a line at wheatonanna@hotmail.com or check this link to read some FAQ's.
